After being exiled, she met a monk named Keo, and fell in love with him. Later, Keo gave up being a monk to live happily with the princess in the temple. Since then this temple has been called the Neang Khmao Temple, Ta Keo.
The Neang Khmao Temple is located 52 kilometer south of Phnom Penh and is at a distance of 26 kilometers from the provincial town of Ta Keo. Hence, reaching this temple is not a problem at all.
Tonle Bati, Ta Keo Province Tonle Bati is situated at Thnol Tak Sin Village of Krang Thnung Commune in Ba Ti district in Takeo province. Tonle Bati is basically a place of worship. It consists of two ancient temples, which are: Ta Prum Temple was constructed in 12th century and in the early 13th century (1181-1201). It was built during the time of the King, Jarman VII. The temple was dedicated to two religions-Brahmanism and Buddhism. Ta Prum Temple is constructed with sandstone and laterite stone. It is also enclosed by walls and has sculpture which project out. There are five sections inside the temple. The five sections consist of two statues, which belong to the 13th century. These statues are placed in front of the krud image, facing to the east side. Yeat Pov Temple is situated at the back of the Tonle Ba ti Temple. It is located about 100 meters away from the Ta Prum Temple. The structure of the temple is square in shape. Yeayy Pov Temple was made out of sandstone in 12th century. It faces in the east direction.
Tonle Bati is also houses the Tonle Bati resort. Tonle Ba ti resort has an old place to rest which is situated at the bank of the Tonle Bati River. The river is about 200 meters away from the Tonle Bati Temple. Tonle Ba ti resort is now taken over by Bati Tourism Company as the staying place.
